Caramanna, Friedberg LLP is a prominent criminal defence firm in downtown Toronto. We will be hiring two articling students for the 2025/2026 articling year. The successful candidates will have a passion for criminal law, an interest in litigation and strong writing skills.
Students will gain extensive experience at our firm including developing their skills in:
- Courtroom experience;
- Legal Research;
- Written Legal Advocacy;
- Client Relations;
- Drafting Charter of Rights and Freedoms Applications;
- Reviewing evidence;
- Client interviews (both in and out of jail);
- Surety Interviews;
- Working with private investigators; and
- Assisting senior counsel defending clients charged with murder or other serious charges.
