BIO

Brittany is a passionate criminal defence lawyer dedicated to obtaining the best possible outcome for her clients. 

Since her call to the bar, Brittany has practiced at Caramanna, Friedberg LLP. Brittany previously completed her articles at a busy downtown Toronto law firm where she assisted on several high-profile cases, including organized crime and murders.

Brittany received her J.D. and M.A. in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies from the University of Toronto. During her legal studies, she volunteered with the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights researching police oversight and accountability in Canada and Pro Bono Students Canada. Brittany was also heavily involved in the University of Toronto Faculty of Law student government, where she served as Vice President of Social Affairs. In her last year of law school she completed an exchange at the University of Amsterdam.

Prior to studying law, she completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, and Psychology at the University of Guelph.

She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.
