Ed believes that the protection of his clients’ rights are paramount and is dedicated to obtaining the best possible result for each case. Ed takes pride in the attention that he provides to his clients and endeavours to ensure that each client is well-informed on every legal issue pertaining to their individual situation.
Prior to joining Caramanna Friedberg LLP, Ed practised criminal law at a busy law chambers in downtown Toronto. Prior to this, he articled at a criminal defence firm where he assisted on several high-stakes cases ranging from drug trafficking to murder.
Ed obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of King’s College where he studied History. He then obtained his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Leeds and his Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. While at Osgoode, his work on cannabis-impaired driving was published.
Ed is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers’ Association, and the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.
